1. What is the difference between plywood hot press and veneer press?

Veneer presses are divided into single-plate and double-plate types, primarily used in furniture factories and for the secondary processing of engineered wood products. They are mainly used for hot-pressing veneer and cannot be used for other purposes.
In summary, although both types of presses are hot presses, there are clear distinctions and they should not be confused.
2. Can a hot press used for producing engineered wood be used as a veneer press?

Veneer presses are not related to single-layer or multi-layer hot pressing. They are specific types of hot presses categorized by different standards. Therefore, a veneer press can be single-layer or multi-layer.
